Apparently, O-Day was a BLAST!
Thanks to all those who helped out on the day… I know, it was sweltering… hot… but it seems we made a good impression on the freshers! Well done!
But wait! there’s more! No I’m not trying to sell you something… well actually I am… COME TO FRESHER WELCOME!

So I’m sure you’ve all seen the freshers walking around town today, getting a feel for their new home…. our… home. Well anyway, as big as it is, O-DAY James oval is bigger! So to help you all find the UDSS Tent, here is the Map (http://udss.net/?attachment_id=456).

Hello all!
Over the summer break, work has been made on the official UDSS website to provide dental students better interactivity than before! Several changes has been made to the site including additions to the student section, posting service, and year calendar. Further details below!
Does UDSS events and your personal life clash? Ever go “Bummer! I can’t go to Dental Dinner because….?” Well never again! Now there is a calendar that has the whole year’s calendar for all UDSS events listed visually for all to see. This will be updated as new details arise with regards to events.
In the student section, there are two new areas for student interaction!
- Photo Gallery
- This gallery will contain photos from UDSS events for everyone to see! Remember the good times and save photos that you want to keep!
- Uploads of photos will happen soon!
- If there are any photos that you wish to upload, please hand them by USB drive to your webmaster. Just make sure whoever is in the photo won’t come after said person with a sharp object because of embarrasment in the photo, please?
- Student Notes
- This area will hold student-made notes that will be accessible for all students to download and study ahead of the course (yeah not likely).
- Again, if there are STUDENT-MADE notes that you wish to upload please hand them to your webmaster.
Finally, the UDSS website will now handle emails that are sent to the students regarding UDSS events and announcements. The email itself will contain the full announcement, but previous announcements can be viewed via the main page of UDSS (http://udss.net)
